2017 Housing Industry Association Awards Northern Territory

2017 has been another big year for the team at Forrest Building Co! We had a fabulous night out on November 17th at the Sky City casino, for the annual Housing Industry Association Awards. 

This night recognises and celebrates, excellence in design and construction in residential building in the Northern Territory. The awards were judged by a panel of industry professionals, and announced in front of 250 construction industry leaders from across Darwin and the NT.

The Forrest Building Co team were absolutely thrilled to win the following awards on the night;

• HIA Home of the Year NT
• Custom Built Home NT
• Tropical Home
• Custom Built Home $600k - 800k

  

All our staff, along with our clients, enjoyed celebrating in 1950'S Rock and Roll theme!

The Judges comments on the winning home;

“In a spacious rural setting this welcoming home is perfectly functional for the busy lives of a young family. With the challenges of a remote location, the builder has accomplished a luxurious feel, timeless high quality finishes, along with passive cooling design. With its 5 bedrooms, adults retreat and large home office it achieves a light and airy character. A truly beautiful home for relaxing and enjoying family life in comfort and style”

We are so proud of the team for all their hard work and superb workmanship on this award-winning project. We thank all our staff, suppliers and subcontractors involved in delivering this high quality new home build. And of course, our wonderful clients who enabled us to build them their dream home!
